Who You Are

You are a seasoned leader in the world of high-stakes events. You don’t just produce events; you command them. You are a strategic thinker who can see the big picture, anticipate challenges, and build the systems and teams required to deliver excellence at scale. You have a proven track record of leading complex, high-profile projects and developing junior talent. You are the person who not only delivers results but elevates the capabilities of the entire team.

Why This Role Matters (For You)

This is your opportunity to step into a key leadership role and shape the future of our event production team. You will be trusted with our most important clients and most ambitious projects. You’ll have the opportunity to implement new processes, mentor a growing team, and leave your mark on a fast-growing company doing $10.8M in annual production. If you’re a builder who is ready for a new level of responsibility and impact, this role is for you.

What You’ll Actually Do

  • Lead the charge: Oversee our most complex, high-profile projects from conception to completion, to the highest standards of quality and profitability.
  • Build the team: Mentor and manage Event Producers and Coordinators, fostering their growth and ensuring they have the support they need to succeed.
  • Drive the strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to refine event production processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the client experience.
  • Own cross-departmental communication: Own the senior point of accountability for communication across your projects — with the client, the designers, the Production Manager, and the Operations/Warehouse Manager. You own the decisions, escalations, and outcomes.
  • Own the outcome: Be the ultimate point of accountability for our most important projects, delivered on time, on budget, and to the complete satisfaction of our clients.

Results (What Winning Looks Like)

  • Team performance. Your team consistently achieves project profitability and client satisfaction targets.
  • Scalable systems. You implement at least two new processes that improve project efficiency within your first year.
  • Client growth. You play a key role in securing and growing our largest accounts.
  • Leadership. You build a world-class production team with strong retention.

Requirements (What You’ve Already Mastered)

  • 5 years of senior-level event experience: Long, proven track record of leading high-profile events and managing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strategic mindset: You can anticipate future challenges and build the infrastructure to support continued growth.
  • People developer: Natural ability to mentor and motivate a team. Passionate about helping others grow.
  • Financial discipline: Deep understanding of project financials and proven ability to manage large budgets.
  • Character: High integrity. Leads by example and inspires trust in clients and team alike.

This Role Is NOT For You If…

  • You’re not passionate about mentoring and developing a team.
  • You’re not comfortable being the ultimate point of accountability on high-stakes projects.
  • You don’t have a desire to build and refine systems and processes.
  • You’re not a strategic thinker who is always looking for ways to improve.
