This is full time, M - F basic business hours. Temporary without an end date, starts within 2- 3 weeks. Must have a car, must clear Livescan/ DOJ prior to starting.Job Duties:The primary role of this position in the Emergency Response Unit is to supervise parent-child visitations for families involved with the Juvenile Court to ensure safety of the children during these interactions. Additionally, the SCA provides transportation services as needed. The SCA is responsible for writing up mandatory, state-required contact notes into the CWS/CMS system. The SCA will provide coverage of visits in each of the district offices and provide support to the district social workers. Additionally, the SCA will be responsible for case management of non-dependent Legal Guardianship cases, processing Specialized Care Assessments (SCI) and Level of Care (LOC) Assessments.Requirements/duties include but not limited to:• Assist with placement of children• Must be strong in verbal and written communication• Must conduct and present themselves professionally• Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills• Frequent consultation with supervisor, peers, and Social Worker II/III• Able to work in a team as well as individually• Able to meet time-sensitive/tight timelines and to maintain orderly and proficient documentation and correspondence• Proficiency in CWS/CMS• Attends trainings and meetings as relevant to job assignment• Case Management of non-dependent Legal Guardianship cases• Bi-Annual home visits to guardians home• Willingness to work throughout Contra Costa County• Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences and needs• Knowledge of child development, substance use disorder and mental health conditions• Willingness to perform other duties based on business needsQualifications:BA degreeChild and family experienceCDLCompany DescriptionWe are a staffing and recruiting agency that specializes in social services.
