Responsibilities

• Monitor premises continuously using CCTV systems and perform regular visual inspections to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Conduct thorough background checks on visitors, contractors, and new employees to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Respond swiftly to incidents, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations and ensure safety.
• Operate security equipment such as Taser, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and CPR devices to provide immediate assistance when needed.
• Perform manual handling and heavy lifting tasks safely during security patrols or when managing equipment or supplies.
• Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations for all individuals entering the premises.
• Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies by providing detailed reports and support.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with knowledge of surveillance techniques such as CCTV operation.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use are highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure during high-stress situations.
• Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and patrol duties effectively.
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and performing background checks to maintain a secure environment.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with emergency responders, law enforcement, and team members.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays as required by the role.
