Pay Range: $63,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
About the Program: Social Clubhouse, Inc. is an adult partial care program providing day services and structured support for adults living with mental health conditions. Social Clubhouse has been serving the adult mental health community in New Jersey for over 20 years. We are expanding our continuum of care to include Outpatient (OP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services, licensed by the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS). These new levels of care aim to provide flexible, client-centered treatment to support recovery and community integration as well as to serve as a step down for our clients in the existing partial care program.
We are affiliated with Social Recovery Center, LLC, also based in Springfield, NJ which offers treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health recovery.

Position Summary: The Clinical Supervisor will oversee all clinical operations of the OP/IOP programs, ensuring high-quality mental health services in accordance with DMHAS regulations and best practices in behavioral healthcare. The Clinical Supervisor will also provide services to individual clients. The successful candidate will provide leadership and supervision to clinical and case management staff, support program development, and contribute to the creation of an innovative and effective therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Supervision and Staff Development:
- Provide clinical supervision to licensed and pre-licensed staff, including LACs, LCSWs, and case managers and interns.
- Ensure appropriate clinical documentation and compliance with DMHAS standards.
- Lead weekly clinical team meetings and case conferences.
- Offer training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to staff.
- Program Oversight and Compliance:
- Ensure clinical services align with program goals and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and quality improvement plans.
- Participate in audits, licensing visits, and internal reviews.
- Collaborate with the Program Director on program evaluation and outcomes tracking.
- Client Care and Service Delivery:
- Support clinicians in developing individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor client progress and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Respond to clinical emergencies, including providing guidance during crises.
- Program Development and Leadership:
- Play a key role in the growth and innovation of the OP and IOP programs.
- Assist in creating new service tracks and partnerships based on client and community needs.
- Assist in the development of referral networks.
- Master’s degree in Social Work and appropriate supervisory credentials.
- Must hold a valid New Jersey LCSW.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience working with adults with mental illness.
- Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) designation or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supervising credentialed professionals and case management staff.
- Familiarity with DMHAS regulations, Medicaid documentation, and evidence-based practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for recovery-oriented, person-centered care and a commitment to equity and inclusion.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in contributing to the development of new mental health services.
