The Director of Marketing & Public Relations reports to the CEO and leads the strategy and execution behind brand awareness, customer acquisition, and reputation across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities
Drive Growth Through Marketing
Develop and execute multi-location marketing strategies that increase Dogs per Day and support revenue growth.
Lead all digital marketing efforts including website management, SEO, social media, email marketing, and paid campaigns.
Use data and analytics to measure campaign performance, optimize ROI, and identify growth opportunities.
Develop targeted strategies to grow priority markets and improve performance in underperforming locations.
Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources strategically across locations.
Elevate Brand & Public Relations
Lead public relations strategy, media outreach, and brand storytelling.
Build strong relationships with local media, community organizations, and strategic partners.
Secure media coverage, coordinate events, and increase visibility across key markets.
Ensure a consistent and compelling brand experience across all locations and marketing channels.
Strengthen Client Engagement
Develop campaigns that drive new client acquisition and repeat usage.
Lead promotion of premium services and add-on offerings to increase client value.Develop targeted internal and external communication strategies focused on high-value client segments.
In partnership with the Director of Operations, implement strategies that improve client retention, loyalty, and premium service adoption.
Partner Across the Organization
Provide regular marketing performance insights and reporting to leadership.
Equip location teams with tools and guidance to execute marketing initiatives effectively.
Drive alignment, accountability, and brand consistency across all locations.
Build and manage a high-performing marketing team and external agency relationships.
Oversee the development of compelling visual, written, and multimedia content aligned with Social Pet’s brand and values.

Qualifications and Experience
7 years of progressive experience in marketing, brand management, or growth marketing.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
Proven track record of driving measurable revenue growth through marketing initiatives.
Direct ownership of public relations efforts, including media outreach and relationship management.
Strong experience with digital marketing, analytics, and performance optimization.
Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
Strategic thinker with ability to execute in a fast-paced, growing organization.
Experience supporting multi-location or service-based businesses preferred.
Candidates must be able to clearly demonstrate how their marketing efforts have directly impacted revenue, customer acquisition, and business growth.
This role requires both performance marketing expertise and hands-on public relations experience, including media outreach, community engagement, and brand storytelling.
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
