HYBRID OPPORTUNITY
Hybrid Role - 3 days on-site, 2 days remote (MUST be located in the San Francisco Bay Area)

COMPENSATION:
- Base Salary: $115K - $125K (annual) - depending on experience
- Bonus: $25K - $150K (no ceiling)
- Total Compensation: $140K - $200K

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Incredible opportunity for a driven, high-performing Business Development leader to take charge of a growing Biz Dev department within one of the nation's most successful community-focused organizations. NO BONUS CEILING- This position offers uncapped earning potential, with top performers earning $200K .
We’re seeking an individual ready to lead, strategize, and scale with a mission-driven organization.
- Execute cold, warm, and hot lead generation and a referral plan.
- Work with the account management team to close new large leads.
- Project-manage top-tier client onboarding for a 6-8 month customer journey.
- Help create and execute a revenue-generating (industry and territory-specific) plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Execution:
- Qualify leads, conduct in-depth discovery, and build trust to understand client needs and business objectives.
- Conduct consultative needs assessments to recommend customized branded merchandise solutions.
- Create and present persuasive sales proposals and presentations tailored to top-tier client goals.
- Project manage the entire sales cycle — from initial contact through to deal closure for top-tier prospective clients.
- Lead and coordinate responses to RFPs and RFQs in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Client Onboarding & Success:
- Collaborate closely with Account Management to ensure a seamless handoff and new client onboarding.
- Deliver a high-touch experience during onboarding and initial project phases to ensure client satisfaction.
Account Growth:
- Identify long-term growth opportunities within newly acquired accounts to drive sales initiatives.
- Ensure the NetSuite CRM is complete and up-to-date with all the necessary client contact information.
Lead Generation & Pipeline Ownership
- Cold Leads: Identify and reach out to target prospective clients through cold outreach, referrals, networking, and social selling. Attend networking or sponsored events and follow up post-event to close leads. Reach out to potential clients via social media, email, and phone.
- Warm Leads: Re-engagement of dormant or past clients within the database. Create and execute a robust referral program.
- Hot Leads: Inbound and marketing-qualified leads provided by the company.
Forecasting & Reporting
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records of all sales activities and opportunity stages.
- Prepare weekly pipeline updates and performance forecasts for leadership.
- Analyze lost opportunities and provide insight to refine targeting and messaging.
Collaboration & Industry Insight
- Work closely with the CEO, marketing, and creative teams to develop outreach campaigns and messaging.
- Support the creation of internal collateral, case studies, and sales resources.
- Stay informed on industry trends, client segments, and competitive activity.
- Represent Social Imprints at trade shows, networking events, and vendor meetings.
- Manage all aspects of live printing marketing events, including budget, setup, breakdown, and follow-up.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Assist with social media marketing and SEO campaigns, when necessary.
Strategic Sales Planning:
- Develop and execute territory and industry-specific sales strategy aligned with company revenue goals.
- Identify and prioritize potential key markets for targeted outreach.
ABOUT YOU (Required Skills & Experience):
Must Have:
- 5 years of B2B business development sales experience at a preferably large, well-established company.
- Proven success in managing entire sales cycles and consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional pitch, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Consultative sales approach with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Google Workspace.
- Self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, or team events.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with RFP/RFQ response processes.
- Experience in a mission-driven or social enterprise environment.
- Background in creative services, branding, or corporate marketing.
