We’re seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Advertising Representative to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for selling advertising space in our print and digital issues, cultivating new client relationships, and managing existing accounts.
You’ll be the bridge between our creative team and local businesses, helping brands showcase their stories to thousands of readers through engaging ad placements and features.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, contact, and close new clients for magazine ad placements (print & digital).
- Conduct virtual or in-person meetings with potential advertisers.
- Attend daily team meetings to collaborate and report progress.
- Build long-term relationships with local businesses and agencies.
- Develop tailored ad packages and present creative marketing solutions.
- Work closely with the editorial and design teams to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Must live in the DFW, TX Metroplex (preferably Burleson, TX) and be available for daily virtual or in-person meetings.
- Proven experience in sales, advertising, or marketing (media sales experience preferred).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong self-discipline and time management.
- Confident, outgoing personality with a passion for local business and community.
- Reliable internet access and personal vehicle for client meetings when needed.
