Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with skill and consistency.
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy at all times.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide outstanding customer service to foster loyalty.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
- Prepare café food items such as sandwiches, salads, baked goods, and snacks while adhering to proper food handling procedures.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety standards.
Experience
- Previous barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee brewing techniques and beverage service.
- *Fluent making Latte Art
- Proven background in food service or café environments with knowledge of food safety protocols.
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions.
- Skilled in cash handling, processing payments accurately, and managing retail sales transactions efficiently.
- Familiarity with non-alcoholic beverage preparation and basic math skills for order calculations and change management.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Strong time management skills to handle fast-paced service periods seamlessly.
