What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Intern position at Social Factor?
Social Factor is looking for a HR intern in the Fort Worth, Texas area, for a part-time, around 20 hour/week, paid internship. The Human Resources Intern will excel in the responsibility of assisting the People & Culture Department with human resources and administrative tasks. This individual must be independent, reliable, proactive, and willing to collaborate with a remote team. Minimum requirement to visit the office in Fort Worth for administrative office management tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the department on tasks that support the people operations of Social Factor including:
- benefits support
- maintaining performance platforms
- culture event details
- coordinating interviews and corresponding with candidates
- department audits and
- employee culture experience & engagement
- Assist with HRIS systems like Lattice, HRIS platform and JazzHR
- Some administrative tasks such as booking travel, researching event space & entertainment, and company swag.
- Partnering with the People team on logistics for team events.
- Coordinating communication regarding company-wide policies, reminders and employee referral program.
Qualifications:
- Student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Quick learner and successful in initiating project progress and completion
- Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Willingness to learn all aspects of Human Resources
- Junior or Senior in college preferred
- Powerpoint or Google Slide experience
- Excel or Google Sheets proficient
- High comfort level collaborating with teams and colleagues.
- Minimum of Windows 10 and macOS 12.X
- Internet speed requirement of a minimum of 50 mbps
