A leading private wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Senior Wealth Planner to join its centralized Estate and Wealth Planning group serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. This role is well suited for a senior-level financial planning professional who thrives in a collaborative, client-facing environment and enjoys working across advisory, portfolio management, and planning teams.
The Senior Wealth Planner will partner closely with Wealth Advisors and Portfolio Managers to deliver comprehensive wealth and estate planning strategies. This individual will also play a leadership role by reviewing financial plans prepared by junior team members, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to firmwide planning best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and deliver sophisticated wealth planning analyses, including retirement cash flow modeling, asset allocation, wealth simulations, income tax planning, estate planning, and risk management using eMoney
- Lead wealth planning discussions and present recommendations in client meetings
- Support advisor teams and portfolio managers by serving as a subject matter expert on personal finance and planning-related matters
- Review and oversee financial plans prepared by junior planners to ensure consistency, accuracy, and high quality
- Serve as the primary point of contact with eMoney, coordinating with vendor representatives and supporting firmwide users
- Conduct training sessions to expand and enhance adoption of eMoney across the organization
- Participate in the firm’s wealth planning committee, contributing to industry best practices and internal planning processes
Qualifications:
- 15 years of experience working directly with clients in a financial planning or wealth planning capacity
- CFP® designation required
- Expert-level proficiency with eMoney financial planning software
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding client service and business objectives
- Strong executive presence with excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills
- Experience managing, mentoring, and training team members
- Deep technical knowledge of financial planning, insurance solutions, retirement savings vehicles, and estate planning concepts
Salary : $175,000 - $250,000
