Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of food quality and safety.
- Supervise and motivate team members, providing ongoing training in food preparation, customer service, and food safety protocols.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules, delegating tasks, and maintaining a lively atmosphere during busy hours.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards through regular kitchen inspections and staff training.
- Foster a positive team environment by interviewing potential candidates, participating in hiring decisions, and developing staff through training & development initiatives.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on food preparation and customer service.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with team management, staff training, and shift management responsibilities.
- Strong background in food industry operations including kitchen management, food handling, inventory control, and food safety practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing.
- Experience in hospitality management or casual dining settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to lead with energy and enthusiasm while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction.
