Work Schedule Options:
- FULL TIME : Monday to Friday, 8:15-4:45pm
- Part TIME: Monday-Friday, 11:30-4:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Maintain dependable and consistent performance.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Behavioral Redirection techniques.
- Observe and record children's behaviors using electronic data input (Central Reach).
- Identify and respond to improvements in a child's behavior.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Implement 1:1 Behavioral intervention programs for children with Autism.
- Participate in monthly Professional Development trainings.
- Nurture and encourage social skills.
- Commit to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA laws.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Be open to and accept constructive feedback.
Physical Requirements:
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Able to assume various postures promptly (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, and standing) as required.
- Willing and able to assist, transport, and execute swift body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan when working with children displaying challenging behaviors
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
- Must have 1 years experience working with autistic children (ages 2-12)
