We are hiring a Behavior Therapist with at least one year experience working with children who diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, or other developmental delay in Fullerton to provide 1:1 ABA therapy and assist a supervisor in implementing a treatment intervention plan to young children primarily at school in the morning shift.

This is a part-time job. Potential of growing into full-time status and higher position and higher wage.
Starting Pay Range: $25- $32.00/ hour

Responsibilities:
1. Implement behavior intervention plans with positive behavior strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) primarily at school, or home and clinic.
2. Provide direct implementation of ABA services to individuals with ASD, ADHD, or other neurodevelopmental differences in both one-on-one and group settings.
3. Teach communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills through Applied Behavioral Analysis principles under the direction of the assigned supervisor.
4. Fulfill all documentation requirements including the use of data collection of strategies and goals, completion of session notes during the session.
5. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and particpate in the meeting to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
6. Provide parent consultation and guidance to families and caregivers under the supervision of a BCBA.
7. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
8. Manage cases and ensure quality of behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs.
Requirement:
1. You must be 21 years of age or older.
2. You are energetic, creative and love to teach children.
3. You possess a valid Driver’s License in California and reliable transportation.
4. The ability to travel up to 25 miles from your place of residence to provide school/or home sessions where public transportation may or may not be available.
5. Active auto insurance or the ability to obtain auto insurance.
6. You are available at least for 12 - 20 hours per week
7. You can pass a criminal background check, TB test, Pre-employment Physical Exam, and have or receive immunities to MMR/ VZV during our onboarding.
8. You are able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and occasionally lift and/ or move up to 35 pounds.
Qualification:
1. You have at least one year of paid or unpaid working experience with children in a Special Education, Paraprofessional, Preschool Teacher or Assistant, Elementary School Teacher, After School Program, Tutor, Youth Coach, Substitute Teacher, Healthcare, Hospice Care, Social Services, Foster Care, Social Work, Youth Program Coordinator, Behavior Specialist, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT), Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Mental Health/Autism Advocate, Behavioral Health Technicians, Direct Support Professionals, Camp Counselor, or a related field.
