We are hiring Behavior therapist in Irvine, Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita and surrounding areas, to provide play-based ABA therapy to our families in the home, community, or private school.

We are looking for the expertise, dynamic and passionate person who can inspire children to learn social skills and want to make a difference in their lives.

This is a part-time job . Potential of growing into full-time status.

Starting Pay Range: $23 - $28/hour

Responsibilities:

1. Implement behavior intervention plans with positive behavior strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in home, private school, or community.

2. Provide direct implementation of ABA services to individuals with ASD, ADHD, or other neurodevelopmental differences in both one-on-one and group settings.

3. Fulfill all documentation requirements including the use of data collection of strategies and goals, completion of session notes during the session.

4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective treatment outcomes.

5. Provide support and guidance to families and caregivers under the supervision of a BCBA.

6. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Requirement:

1. You must be 21 years of age or older.

2. You are energetic, creative and love to play with children.

3. You possess a valid Driver’s License in California and reliable transportation.

4. The ability to travel up to 25 miles from your place of residence to provide home and/or school sessions.

5. Active auto insurance or the ability to obtain auto insurance.

6. You are available at least for 12 - 20 hours per week

7. You can pass a criminal background check, TB test, Pre-employment Physical Exam, and have or receive immunities to MMR/ VZV during our onboarding.

8. The position requires lifting (up to 35 pounds), carrying, and loading/unloading toys and materials for home visits. Also, frequent walking, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and twisting in order to observe, assess, and interact with clients.

Qualification:

1. You have at least a High School Diploma.

Our company provides training programs to help all employees obtain their RBT or BCAT certification if you do not have a behavioral certification.
