About Us:
Soccer Pups is a premier youth soccer training facility dedicated to fostering the love of soccer in children ages 3 and up. Our mission is to provide a fun, safe, and educational environment where young athletes can develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the game.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly responsible and dependable Assistant Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our youth soccer training facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports, experience working with young children, and proven management skills. This role is perfect for someone who has coached, played, or worked in sports management and enjoys creating a positive and energetic atmosphere for kids and families. This role is crucial in ensuring our facility runs smoothly and maintains the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Management: Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring it is clean, safe, and well-maintained. Coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Staff Supervision: Assist to manage, train, and schedule staff, including coaches and administrative personnel. Ensure all staff are performing their duties effectively and adhering to facility policies.
- Program Coordination: Assist in planning and executing training programs, events, and activities. Ensure programs are delivered consistently and meet the needs of our young athletes.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to parents, guardians, and visitors. Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and record-keeping. Ensure efficient and effective operation of the facility.
- Community Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive environment. Build strong relationships with the local community and promote the facility’s programs and services.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Experience in facility management, sports administration, or a related field. Experience working with young children is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but NOT required.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Knowledge: Understanding of youth sports programs and child development.
- Attributes: Dependable, responsible, and proactive. Passionate about youth sports and dedicated to creating a positive environment for young athletes.
