Soccer Post is seeking a Graphic Designer to support our growing in-house apparel print operations and variable data marketing initiatives. This role blends creative design with hands-on production, working across apparel, print, digital, and personalized communications.
What You’ll Do
- Apparel Design: Create graphics for team kits, fan wear, and promotional apparel optimized for screen printing, heat press, and DTG production.
- Variable Data Marketing & Personalization: Design targeted campaigns using variable data printing (VDP) for print, email, and digital communications.
- Print Production: Prepare accurate, print-ready files including color separations, vector optimization, and fabric-specific adjustments.
- Production Collaboration: Partner with our in-house production team to ensure designs translate seamlessly to finished garments and maintain quality standards.
- Marketing Design & Collateral Development: Develop additional marketing assets including web graphics, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects while collaborating with marketing, copywriters, and internal teams.
- Asset Management: Organize and maintain digital assets using Adobe Bridge and Creative Cloud Libraries.
- Technical Resource: Troubleshoot design files and innovate design and apparel printing process based on industry trends and technology updates.
- Bachelor's degree or significant coursework in Visual Arts, Graphic Design,or related disciplines highly preferred or on-the-job experience with a strong portfolio.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite — especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Understanding of color, typography, and print production including color separation and file prep.
- Experience designing for and preparing files for cutting machines, apparel printing and variable data workflows a plus
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Willingness to support the team with other related duties as assigned
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
