Position: Youth Soccer Instructor/Site Director
Description:
Soccer Joe’s is seeking Head Instructors/Site Directors to run Saturday morning soccer clinics for children ages 2-10 for Spring and Summer seasons (Spring: 3/28-5/23, Summer: 6/6-8/8).
Must have availability Saturday mornings. Friday morning availability preferred, but not required.
As a Head Instructor you will be responsible for leading your own classes of 5-12 students through 20-40 minute, fast-paced, and engaging weekly lessons.
Each week you will play games, introduce a new skill, and teach your class a new aspect of playing soccer and being part of a team.
Clinics run Friday mornings (8:50am-11:30am) and Saturday mornings (~8:30am-11am). Experience working with children is preferred. No prior soccer experience necessary, but it does help!
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing your own park location and in-school classes
- Directing your assistant coach (when needed)
- Park location set up and take down/clean up
- Greeting, welcoming, and checking in your families and students
- Running engaging, fun, high-energy classes
- Cheering for your students when they score (with their feet!)
- Making sure to laugh and have fun with your students
Benefits:
- $17-18/hr during training. Head Instructors make $20-30/hr (depending on experience). Site Directors make up to $25-$30 per hour (depending on experience) or $25-$30 per 20-40 minute session if preferred.
- All Instructors are provided with training, curriculum, equipment, and Soccer Joe’s apparel.
- Early Childhood Education tuition reimbursement program available to qualified Head Instructors/Site Directors.
