This is a part-time, seasonal role providing hands-on experience in soccer operations, including team logistics, player registration, compliance tracking, and match-day execution. The position is ideal for someone seeking practical experience in a fast-paced sports environment while contributing to the success of multiple pre-professional teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the operational and administrative needs of the USL W League, USL League Two, and Academy League teams during the 2026 season. This is a part-time, seasonal role providing hands-on experience in soccer operations, including team logistics, player registration, compliance tracking, and match-day execution. The position is ideal for someone seeking practical experience in a fast-paced sports environment while contributing to the success of multiple pre-professional teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Track and manage team expenses for W League, League Two, and Academy League
- Assist with player registration, eligibility, and compliance requirements (SafeSport, SportsEngine)
- Coordinate team travel logistics including transportation, communication with away teams, and meals
- Assist with home and away match-day operations, including greeting visiting teams and coordinating logistics
- Support locker room setup, pitch and sideline setup, and overall game day preparation
- Submit required league information (Mod Eleven) and complete post-game reporting (First Whistle)
- Assist with livestream/broadcast setup as needed
- Oversee equipment and uniform management, including laundry coordination
- Provide general administrative and operational support to Academy staff
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a 4-year undergraduate or graduate program
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and match days
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace preferred
- Interest in sports operations, soccer, or team administration preferred
- Ability to lift equipment and assist with game day setup (up to 25 lbs)
