What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-time or Part-time Dentist position at SoCal Tooth Co?
Brand new and modern private practice seeking a highly motivated, skilled and experienced dentist looking to join our team. Candidate should be caring and compassionate and have great chairside manner. If asked to work a weekend, it would be occasionally one Saturday every other month. Schedule is flexible. Must have 1 Year of Experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
- Diagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restoration
- Perform dental care treatments including x-rays, fillings, sealants, crowns
- Supervise staff
- Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and use of orthodontics and dental appliances
- Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA accredited dental school is required
- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry
- Current state license
- Previous experience in clinical or private practice
- CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications
- Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $84,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
