Duties
- Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, color treatments, styling, hair extensions, and special occasion looks.
- Apply advanced techniques such as balayage, highlights, and color theory to achieve desired results.
- Use salon software like SQUARE for scheduling appointments, client management, and retail sales tracking.
- Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail upselling to enhance client satisfaction.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to industry regulations.
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and answering inquiries.
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development and team cohesion.
Experience
- Proven experience as a professional Hairdresser or Cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of diverse styling work preferred.
- Skilled in hair coloring techniques based on color theory principles.
- Experience with hair extensions application, eyelash extensions, and wax is a plus.
- Familiarity with barbering techniques including straight razor shaves is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their needs effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
