Inside Sales Coordinator

Position Summary
The Inside Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operational functions of our electrical contracting business. This role ensures technician schedules are organized, inventory and purchasing are managed, phones and customer inquiries are handled professionally, and social media presence is maintained. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Communication
- Create and maintain technician schedules based on job priority, skills, and locations
- Coordinate dispatch and service follow-ups with technicians and customers
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and redirect as necessary
Inventory & Purchasing
- Track inventory levels and reorder parts, tools, and supplies as needed
- Work with vendors to obtain quotes and place orders
- Maintain accurate inventory records
Administrative Support
- Manage front-office tasks including filing, email correspondence, and documentation
- Support billing and invoicing processes when needed
Marketing & Social Media
- Maintain company social media accounts (posting updates, promotions, and service highlights)
- Monitor social engagement and respond to basic inquiries/comments
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree a plus)
- Excellent communication skills (phone & email)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Basic social media proficiency
- Comfortable with inventory systems / basic purchasing
- Previous experience in scheduling or construction/field service preferred
Working Conditions
- Office environment with occasional job site interactions
- Standard business hours; occasional after-hours support may be required
