Overview
A Guard Shift Leader directs and supervises a team of guards performing internal security services. The shift leader oversees and manages guard force operations and training. He/she interfaces directly with US Government personnel and acts as guard force leader.

Responsibilities
- The Guard Shift Leader is required to pass an annual Physical Ability Test per AR 190-56.
- The Guard Shift Leader shall manage and direct guard operations on a daily basis under direction from the Guard Site Manager or Guard Site Assistant Manager.
- The Guard Shift Leader shall ensure that all guard personnel are aware of and abide by all post and general orders.
- The Guard Shift Leader will supervise large groups of guards or specific sectors or functions of the guard program for the site or complex to which assigned.
- U.S. Citizen - must have and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance
- Must possess experience of not less than ten (10) years total, with at least 4 years of Military background with honorable discharge, and the remaining can be either military, police, and/or PSC in a contingency area
- Prior experience as officer, warrant officer or senior non-commissioned officer and have reached the grade of E-7 [NATO Code OR-7] or greater and successfully served in a supervisory role for at least one year at the platoon level or equivalent
- Must have demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite software to include Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word, and Internet Explorer
