What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Lead - Evenings and Weekends position at SoBol?
SoBol North Andover is currently seeking shift leads to join our team. SoBol provides the community with delicious acai bowls and fruit smoothies in a fun, upbeat café with a beachy vibe. At SoBol, shift leads will oversee the café's efficient operations, ensure required tasks are completed, and make sure restaurant patrons have a great experience. Weekend availability is required. Strong work ethic and positive mindset are a must!
Typical job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Trains staff, facilitates breaks, and monitors staffing levels
- Oversees stock levels
- Ensures the neatness, cleanliness, and orderliness of the facility
- Handles customer inquiries
- Greet customers
- Solve or escalate customer, employee, and operational issues
- Ensures compliance with established food standards, food quality, preparation, and company policies and operating procedures, including following company procedures and checklists
- Delegate and get things done promptly
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience in food service
- Excellent customer service
- Flexibility
- Great interpersonal skills
- Great communication skills
- Great problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership skills
- ServSafe Food Handler's License preferred
- Can provide own transportation (required)
- Availability must include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
