Manager

SoBol Ridgefield is seeking a motivated, friendly, punctual, positive, morning person as working manager, responsible for overseeing the efficient running of our smoothie and bowl cafe, while directly working with employees and patrons.

We serve the best açaí bowls and smoothies around. We have pride in our product by blending fresh everyday, using quality fresh fruit to top our bowls, and even use our one of a kind homemade granola. We enjoy providing the community with the option of a healthy, quick, delicious, aesthetic meal they can feel good about eating. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working front of house and back of house
• Overseeing stock levels
• Ordering supplies
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene, health & safety legislation and guidelines
• Maintaining clean, neat, orderly facility
• Adhering to proper portioning and recipes
• Financial awareness to profitability, labor, food cost/waste, increasing sales
• Handling customer inquiries, reviews, greeting, advising and relationship building
• Staff scheduling, training, overseeing, covering shifts and team building
• Problem solving when issues arise
• Daily and open communication with owners and coordination with other store managers

Typical work week is approximately 40-50 hours on the schedule or more. Must have flexibility to work any day, shift and holidays. Typical work week for our managers is Mon-Sat opening shifts only if we have responsible Sunday openers. This schedule is subject to change at any time depending on staffing changes, covering shifts, and training new employees which can occur any time and will vary during the year. Must cover missed shifts when necessary and ensure the store is fully prepared to function without your presence after your shifts and on days off. Own transportation is a must. Great starting pay ($20/hour), PLUS TIPS which average an additional $3-5 per hour on top of base pay & PAID OVERTIME if necessary! Incentives and opportunity for advancement depending on experience and performance. Hours of operation Monday-Saturday 7am-7pm, Sunday 8am-6pm (hours of operation subject to change during peak season) - but no late nights.
