Opening/Closing Shift Team Member

We strive to serve healthy food in a fast paced and clean cafe while showing our guests that we are grateful to serve them. We are looking for team members and experienced Shift Leaders to join our team. If you enjoy talking to customers, are detail-oriented, love acai and smoothies, hard worker, reliable and have a positive attitude, we want you!

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills. Must have a positive attitude and provide service with a smile.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and basic math skills.
• 12 hours per week minimum, and must be available to work on weekends.
• Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
• A good memory to manage multiple orders at the same time and recall faces, names, and preferences of frequent patrons.
• Ability to serve customers quickly, efficiently and recommend the best product based on patrons dietary needs or known allergies.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 30 pounds, and reach over your head.
• Must be able to work mornings as early as 7:30am (open shift) and afternoons as early as 1pm, 2pm or 3pm (closing shift) and weekends (usually longer hours shifts)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for greeting patrons and taking their orders accurately in a friendly manner.
• Assist your fellow co-workers and follow your supervisors decisions to keep the workday as smoothly and organized as possible.
• Serve and prepare smoothies, smoothie bowls & cut fruit
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including restocking shelves and fridges.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately.
