Summary
The Wardrobe Clerk is responsible for assigning and unassigning uniforms for new hires, current team members, and separating team members while providing excellent guest service at all times. The Wardrobe Clerk ensures all uniform transactions are completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate inventory of all uniform garments and related items.
- Ensuring all team members uniform records are updated and documented properly.
- Conducting uniform fittings and assisting team members with proper sizing and professional appearance standards.
- Inspecting uniforms for damages, alterations, and cleanliness before issuing garments.
- Processing uniform repairs, alterations, replacements, and exchanges as needed.
- Organizing and stocking uniform inventory in designated areas.
- Assisting with inventory counts and verifying shipment quantities received from vendors or warehouses.
- Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety within the Wardrobe Department at all times.
- Following department policies and procedures regarding uniform issuance and payroll deductions when applicable.
- Stores and organizes all supplies in adherence with compliance and safety standards.
- Receives and loads clean uniforms to the uniform conveyor rail.
- Send out dirty uniforms to designated cleaners.
- Issues uniform to new hires, including processing new hire paperwork printing, adhering name labels and administering data entry for all employee information.
- Assists with receiving uniforms back from terminated team members, returning items to inventory for future use or discards.
- Assist other staff member with general clerical and office duties as needed.
- Basic knowledge of computer software includes Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as office equipment, Foundation Logic the Uniform Manager Software, and ADP.
- Presses and spot clean uniforms as necessary.
- Assist in inventory control to ensure uniforms are available and to protect the company’s assets.
- Keeps supervision informed of all issues and problems.
- Provides excellent guest service to our team members and responds to inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.
Education / Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age, or older.
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- Experience with uniform stock inventory procedure, preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as office equipment, Foundation Logic The Uniform Manager Software, and ADP.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively to guests or team members.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Must reason with people effectively yet cordially.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.
Certificates, licenses and registration
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
- Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
