Sobie Company is a diverse interior finishing contractor focusing on interior/exterior metal studs, drywall hang/finish, flooring, and acoustical ceilings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• General multiple skills Carpenter position requires being flexible and having the ability to complete projects from start to finish from the framing down to the drywall finishing and acoustical ceilings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of company products and specifications.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints.
• Extreme accuracy when measuring.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Effective communication.
• Ability to easily adapt to changing situations.
• Ability to Frame, Hang/Finish, and install acoustical ceilings in a proficient, professional, and timely manner.
• Reliable transportation.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequently required to stand and walk talk and hear, handle, grasp, reach, and use fingers.
• Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Regularly required to climb, stoop, crouch, and kneel.
• Work performed inside and outside and occasional exposure to the elements.
• Work frequently performed in loud noise level environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
