Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one peer support to individuals in recovery from mental health and substance use disorders.

- Employ motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in setting and achieving their recovery goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in addiction counseling, social work, and mental health counseling.
Requirements
- Certification as a Peer Support Specialist or Certified Recovery Mentor is required.
- Experience in crisis intervention, crisis management, or behavioral health settings is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Familiarity with documentation purposes is highly desirable.

Qualifications
- Certified Peer Support Specialist (PSS) or Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM).
- Minimum 2 years in recovery.

- Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
