Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Slot Performance Senior Manager, direct the Slot Technicians and Slot Project Technicians; provide technical support, and assist with repairs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide support to law enforcement and regulatory personnel with investigations concerning gaming machines, Slot Department personnel, and other concerns as directed.
- Ensure all gaming machines and systems, Slot Department equipment, personnel, and all other departmental assets consistently operate in compliance with all tribal, state, and federal regulatory standards and at maximum efficiency.
- Perform analysis, maintain accurate records of, and coordinate and assist with slot floor layout changes and machine relocations, conversions, installations, and matters pertaining to slot performance.
- Monitor, operate, and maintain online slot accounting system progressive systems hardware and software and interpret system data as pertinent to slot performance and functionality.
- Prepare schedules, approve and disapprove team member leave time, and delegate work assignments to maintain the highest level of guest service and organizational support.
- Provide support and direction to Slot Technical personnel on complex technical issues.
- Wear a department-approved communications device that requires a dedicated earpiece.
- Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality and present a positive, professional demeanor and image at all times.

- Contact with vendors for supplies and equipment pertaining to slots.
- Contact with Slot Director and team members when communicating business operational needs and issues.
- Contact with other departments within the organization.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Three years of Slot Technician experience.
- Slot Technical Training Program (STTP) or obtain within one year.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license to meet the employment eligibility requirements as they pertain to the position.
- Bachelor`s Degree in electronic or electro-mechanics related field.
- One year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
- Native American preference shall apply to all positions.
- Knowledge of mechanical functions and play aspects of slot machines, procedures, and Casino floor operations.
- Knowledge of slot machines and the electronic data system hardware.
- Knowledge of basic manual hand tool and repair methods.
- Knowledge of electronically mechanical troubleshooting methods and techniques.
- Knowledge and experience using a voltmeter and troubleshooting wires as it relates to slot machines.
- Skill in customer service.
- Skill in operating business computers and office machines, including in a Windows environment, specifically Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Skills in the use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical/electronic test equipment.
- Ability to lead, guide, and supervise the work of others.
- Ability to read schematics and perform software control of peripherals.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Frequent use of hands, wrists, fingers associated with tool use and equipment repair.
- Required to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Required to lift, carry, push and pull.
- Required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent walking and standing in a smoking environment and contact with the general public. Constant visual stimulation via neon lights on slot machines, repeatedly changing machine video screens, static or flashing signs throughout the casino, and constant machine and crowd noise.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and operation of cleaning equipment.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.
- Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
