Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day property operations and resident relations.
- Support lease or rental agreement management, ensuring all documentation complies with legal and company standards.
- Utilize property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite to update records and generate reports.
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and oversee facilities management to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and recordkeeping in accordance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with residents via phone, email, or in person to address inquiries, resolve conflicts, and promote customer service excellence.
- Uphold compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations, Section 8 programs, and landlord-tenant laws.
- Support team management efforts by collaborating with colleagues on daily tasks and fostering a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles; experience with property management companies is a MUST.
- Strong knowledge of property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Familiarity with landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, and lease management processes.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, reporting, and correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; leadership or team management experience is advantageous.
- Office experience supporting administrative functions such as filing, data entry, contracts review, and client communication.
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
