The Case Supervisor role is intended to help you develop the foundational skills needed to become a successful BCBA, while receiving structured supervision, coaching, and hands-on clinical experience. This role reports to the Local Clinical Trainer, who is a BCBA, at your assigned clinic.
This role is part of Soar’s Apex Program, our enhanced development pathway for future BCBAs. Apex is designed to elevate how we develop and support Case Supervisors as they build clinical readiness, accrue practicum hours, and pursue a long-term career as a BCBA.
The Case Supervisor role is designed for practicum students who are earlier in their BCBA journey and are generally more than 6–9 months away from completing requirements to become a BCBA. In this Apex Program, you will receive enhanced development, ongoing supervision, clinical training, and opportunities to build community with other Case Supervisors across Soar. This role has the opportunity for promotion to Lead Case Supervisor when you are within 6 months of testing!

Highlights of the Role
- Base pay: $25.50 - $30.00/hour
- Serve as a case supervisor for 1-3 client cases (10 paid unrestricted hours/week), learning and practicing the key skills to become a high-quality BCBA. This is a full-time hourly, position.
- Receive dedicated supervision, training, and feedback from your Local Clinical Trainer and other BCBAs in your center

As a Case Supervisor, you will:
- Serve as a case supervisor for client cases, with scope determined by center needs, clinical readiness, and program progress
- Accrue paid unrestricted hours through client programming, supervision, family guidance, assessment, and other BCBA-aligned responsibilities
- Update client goals and programming using Soar’s electronic data collection platform
- Provide support and supervision to RBTs, with coaching and feedback from BCBAs
- Participate in ESDM-specific trainings to grow your clinical skillset
- Learn to develop Behavior Intervention Plans using approaches such as Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-Based Treatment
- Support family treatment guidance meetings using Soar’s in-house curriculum
- Assist with assessments and reassessments for clients, including exposure to tools such as the Vineland, QABF, FAST, and ESDM Curriculum Checklist
- Receive coaching and feedback from your Local Clinical Trainer, Partner Clinician, and other BCBAs in your clinic
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and other members of the integrated care team
- Provide direct client therapy as part of your full-time role, with the weekly mix of direct therapy and unrestricted activities determined by center needs and program progress
- Must be enrolled in or recently completed a Master’s program in ABA or a related field that meets BCBA coursework requirements
- You must be at least in your second semester of your master’s or certificate program
- Actively accruing practicum hours toward BCBA certification
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with children and families
- Emerging skills in case conceptualization, client programming, and clinical planning
- Emerging skills in coaching and supporting RBTs
- Strong desire to learn, grow, and receive feedback
