Compensation And Role Design
- Base pay: $25.50 - $32.50/hour, with signing bonuses available upon offer! Additional bonuses available if you are planning on testing within 3 months
- Serve as a case supervisor for 2-4 client cases (10-20 paid unrestricted hours/week), learning and practicing the key skills to become a high-quality BCBA. This is a full-time position.
- This exciting opportunity is a role designed for individuals who are actively in their coursework to become a BCBA and are accruing practicum hours.
- Guaranteed BCBA role at Soar following the passing of the BCBA exam and meeting program expectations (location will depend on local staffing needs).
- Support and training: Dedicated ongoing supervision, training, and feedback from Local Clinical Trainer (BCBA) and other BCBAs in your center
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a case supervisor for 2-4 client cases (10-20 paid unrestricted hours/week), set based on center needs and program progress
- Update client goals and programming, utilizing our electronic data collection platform
- Provide direct supervision to a team of RBTs
- Participate in ESDM specific trainings, growing your clinical skillset
- Write Behavior Intervention Plans, utilizing the Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill Based Treatment (SBT)
- Training and coaching to be provided
- Meet with families to conduct Family Treatment Guidance meetings and support, utilizing Soar’s in-house curriculum
- Conduct and write assessment reports for new clients and re-assessments for established clients, including training on the Vineland, QABF, FAST, and the ESDM Curriculum Checklist
- Receive coaching and feedback from Partner Clinician and other BCBAs in your clinic
- Be a part of the Soar integrated care team, participating in interdisciplinary meetings for collaboration with Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists
- Conduct direct client therapy (15-25 hours/week), set based on center needs and program progress
- Must be enrolled in or recently completed a Master’s program for ABA
- Be within ~400-600 hours (or less) of completing all practicum hours to be eligible to sit for the BCBA Exam
- Demonstrate excellent skills in building rapport and trust with families as a behavior therapist
- Demonstrate emerging skills in case conceptualization and client programming and planning
- Demonstrate emerging skills in coaching and supervising RBTs to implement ESDM therapy
