What You’ll Do
Lead & Develop an Amazing Team
- Mentor and inspire a team of accounting professionals, creating a collaborative and high-accountability environment.
- Set clear goals, provide coaching and feedback, and support the team’s ongoing development.
- Ensure your team stays current with accounting best practices, tools, and emerging technologies.
Drive Accounting Excellence
- Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, general ledger, and monthly close.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Continuously streamline, optimize, and improve accounting processes and workflows.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and key financial reports.
Ensure Compliance & Strong Controls
- Uphold GAAP, company policies, and regulatory standards with precision.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to protect company assets and data integrity.
- Lead internal and external audits with confidence and organization.
Provide Insights That Drive Results
- Analyze financial data to uncover trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with leadership across the business to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment on financial objectives and project costs.
Champion Systems & Tools
- Oversee the performance and optimization of accounting systems.
- Identify and implement new tools or enhancements that increase accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
What You Bring
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CMA preferred.
Experience
- 5 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) and Microsoft Power BI required.
- Experience with RAMP and Solver preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
