Job Summary
We are searching for an energetic, responsible, and friendly individual to join our team as a laundromat attendant. You will be tasked with wash/dry/fold intake and processing, assisting with customers, and maintaining a cleanly environment.
Responsibilities:
- Customer service: Greeting customers and assisting with equipment operation
- Wash/dry/fold: Taking in customer laundry, processing, completing in a professional presentation and timely manner. Label and tracking laundry carefully as to not lose customer's items
- Point-of-sale: Ability to learn and operate our point-of-sale software with ease
- Maintaining store and equipment cleanliness; emptying dryer lints daily, cleaning equipment, sanitizing bathroom, sweeping and mopping, etc.
- Assisting with assigned opening and closing duties
Qualifications/Skills/Requirements:
- Customer service and retail experience preferred but not required
- Friendly, reliable, professional demeanor
- Strong attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Be able to work independently
- Ability to follow procedures
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 50lbs throughout the day
- Basic computer skills
Work Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Weekend availability a must
