Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and mixing ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Support catering events and banquets as needed, contributing to a positive dining experience.
- Help maintain inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling practices is highly desirable.
