Position: Warehouse Manager
Reports To: SoPakco Distribution, Inc. Greeneville/Kingsport, TN
Job Summary:
SoPakCo Warehouse Managers are expected to work as a valued member of the warehouse and distribution operations. This position consists of daily management of all aspects of warehouse operations. As a warehouse manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of customer service, managing our warehouse operations, and learning how to use customer/warehouse management systems.
Job Description/Required Skills:
- Required to use customer and warehouse management system.
- Responsible for inventory reconciliation
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced work environment.
- Knowledge of work processing tools and spreadsheet (MS Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ensure all associates follow policies including company rules and safety guidelines.
- Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.
- Ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments, and direct the workforce in an ever-changing, warehouse environment.
- Assist other areas/departments when needed.
Education and Experience:
- Previous Warehouse Manager experience required.
- Preferred experience using data management software.
- Warehousing, logistics, supply chain or third-party experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor degree or Associate degree is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires prolonged sitting, standing and material handling equipment operations.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as needed.
- Must be able to work in severe weather conditions, both heat and cold
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, squat, kneel, twist, crawl, and bend for prolonged periods throughout the shift.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screening.
