Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Candidates with dining experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly preferred. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Provide guest relations by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests professionally
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and restaurant policies to assist guests effectively
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including Korean restaurant settings preferred
- Proficiency with Toast POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Upselling techniques to promote menu items and increase sales revenue
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in bussing, hosting/hostess duties, or guest services is advantageous
