Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dependable General Labor Driver to join our team! In this dynamic role, you will operate various commercial vehicles to transport vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently. Your enthusiasm for moving goods, combined with your driving skills and mechanical knowledge, will help ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles including box trucks, flatbeds, and shuttle buses to load, transport, and unload vehicles or equipment.
- Drive route-driven deliveries or shuttle runs between facilities with precision and professionalism.
- Assist with the moving and positioning of vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment when necessary.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met before each trip.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding delivery schedules, vehicle issues, or delays.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial vehicle operation preferred.
- Experience driving various types of commercial vehicles such as box trucks, shuttle buses, or tractor-trailers.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Strong communication skills for clear reporting and coordination.
- Ability to move heavy loads using forklifts or pallet jacks; warehouse experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with manual transmissions, heavy haul operations, or heavy equipment operation is advantageous.

Pay: $24.36 - $29.33 per hour
