What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential HVAC Service Technician position at Snyder Plumbing, Cooling & Heating LLC?
We're looking for an HVAC Technician to join our growing team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have a background in maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing residential HVAC products. Individuals interested in this position should have experience with gas furnaces, boilers, central air systems and air conditioning equipment, as well as the ability to diagnose problems and come up with solutions quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Use measuring equipment to diagnose the cause of a problem and develop solutions.
- Measure temperatures and pressures to ensure that systems are operating efficiently.
- Use HVAC equipment to diagnose problems and perform basic repairs, using hand tools.
- Install, service, or repair heating and cooling systems, such as furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps and compressors.
- Perform various electrical functions, including installing motors and panels.
- Employ standard techniques to inspect electrical motors.
- Be physically active while climbing ladders and using hand tools.
- Perform a variety of tasks up to 75 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
