What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mowing Crew- PART TIME 20-30 HRS/WEEK position at Snyder Landscaping & Lawn Care?
Type of Work
- Mowing / String Trimming / Blowing at Commercial and Residential Properties
- Help Landscaping crew as needed
- Snow Removal (Truck with plow, skid loader, shovel, snow blower, salt truck/applicator)
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Ability to work in various weather conditions: Cold, Hot, & Wet weather
- Ability to work with Hand and Power Tools
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- General Lawn Maintenance (weed pulling, pruning, trimming, etc.)
- Spring and Fall Lawn Clean-ups
Schedule
- Full Time Salary or Hourly
- Monday thru Friday (Occasional Saturdays)
- Occasional Late Nights & Long Shifts (During busy season and snow removal season)
Equipment (not limited to)
- ½ - 1 ton trucks
- Various size trailers and weight classes
- Stand on, Ride on, Push Mowers
- String Trimmers, Weed Eaters, Hand and Back Pack Blowers, Hedge Trimmers
- Various tool needed to complete general lawn maintenance
Expectations
- Communicate with customers in a courteous and timely matter
- Communicate and Work with Management, other Crews
- Work with diverse cultural and ethnical backgrounds
- Independently solve problems while at the jobsite and throughout day to day operations
- Follow instructions from Management and complete work orders in a timely & efficient manner
- Responsible for monitoring potential issues related to equipment. (Truck, Trailer, Mowers, Trimmers, Blowers, All other Equipment)
- Maintain accurate records of your schedules, work orders, etc.
- Promote safety and a healthy work environment
- Take responsibility for your own actions

Requirements for Employment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License
- Must provide a D.O.T. Certified copy of your Driving Record (As applicable)
- Must be able to pass a Drug Test
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour
