Position Summary
The Final Inspection Supervisor is responsible to lead a team of deburr employees on quality and packaging of all manufactured product at Snyder Industries. Manages shipping/receiving department to ensure correct product is shipping to meet on time delivery targets. Works with internal sales team to prioritize product flow through final inspection. Works with internal quality team on non-conformances found at final. Uses blueprints, excel spreadsheets, reporting, and computer MRP software to meet customer requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Blueprint reading, GD&T, Excel, ERP systems.
· Understand manufacturing processes: Turning, Milling, Gear cutting, and Heat treating.
· Works with Quality Manager on non-conformances found in department
· Manages final tapping operations
· Manages deburr employees
· Manages final inspection checklists and visual inspections before packaging products
· Performs visual inspection in accordance to customer specifications and ISO 9001:2015 requirements
· Utilizes the ship list and working with production analyst to meet delivery needs
· Performs diversified deburring and final inspection duties
· Operates tools and equipment such as hand grinder, Bridgeport mill, polishing station, and tap tables
· Manages shipping/receiving department
· Works with engineering team on gauge needs, fixturing, tooling.
· Works with quality department with calibration needs
· Manages organization of inspection area and raw material warehouse
· Complies with safety regulations in all aspects of performing job responsibilities.
· Operates computer and enters inspection data
· Other Misc. Deburr/Inspection functions
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Experience and interest in a CNC machining job shop environment
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Attentive to detail; organized
· Ability to supervise
· Ability to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment
· Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Recommend: Understanding of raw materials: castings, forgings, bar stock, plate materials
· Recommend: Understanding of CNC turning, CNC milling, Heat treat (carburization, quench & tempering, induction hardening, welding), and gear cutting (Shaping & Hobbing)

This position operates within the CMM inspection room and has a heavy presence on the manufacturing floor. Employee will be responsible for looking at all angles of parts in the machine and on pallets. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, copiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must lift up to fifty (50) lbs. occasionally.

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
