Some of the duties and responsibilities will include:
- Administering accurate account statements and documentation on resident and commercial tenants.
- Entering refund information in a company accounting system and ensuring refunds are paid on time per state laws.
- Administering check returns, stop payments, and reissues, as needed.
- Recording daily cash receipts, including wires and checks, into multiple company accounts.
- Performing audits for residents by examining security deposits, monthly charges, final checks, late fee processing, prior accounts, cancellations, and other information.
- Performing collections on bad debts and administering monthly statements of balances due, bad debt reports, write-offs, and other statements.
- Recording payments in property management and accounting software/.
- Assisting past residents with information on balances due, payments, and other matters.
To be successful, your background should include:
- Previous accounting and bookkeeping experience is required.
- Ability to utilize standard MS Office software, specifically Excel and Outlook.
