About the role
Snowy Owl Coffee Roasters is looking for a full time Marketing and Content Coordinator to lead day to day content creation and marketing support across our cafés, digital channels, ecommerce business, events, and new programs. This role will help customers understand what is new, what makes each location distinctive, and why they should visit, order, or attend.
In the near term, two major priorities will be growing awareness of Night Owl (Our new Wine Bar & Tapas concept) supporting the launch of our new daytime food program in Brewster. The position is broader than either program, however, and will provide ongoing marketing support for Snowy Owl’s café locations, products, seasonal offerings, hiring needs, collaborations, and other initiatives throughout the year.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys photography, short form video, design, writing, planning, and turning ideas into finished campaigns. The right person will be able to move between creative work and practical execution, maintain a reliable marketing calendar, and collaborate with managers across the company.
What you will doLead café and food program marketing
- Plan and create marketing content for seasonal drinks, bakery items, café food, new products, hiring, events, and collaborations.
- Support the launch and ongoing growth of the up and coming daytime food program in Brewster through photography, video, menu storytelling, signage, digital promotion, and customer education.
- Coordinate with café managers and visit Snowy Owl locations regularly to capture timely content and understand what each location needs.
- Create materials that support in café promotions, menus, order ahead, special offers, and new program launches.
- Help market each café to its local audience while maintaining a consistent Snowy Owl brand across Brewster, Sandwich, and Chatham.
- Build campaigns that serve year round Cape Cod residents while also supporting the seasonal summer audience.
Create and manage visual content
- Develop and maintain a practical content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, email, and other relevant channels.
- Capture and edit photography and video at the cafés, roastery, events, and product launches.
- Create social posts, Stories, Reels, TikToks, and other short form content, using a video first approach whenever it fits the subject.
- Create graphics and visual assets in Canva using existing brand templates and develop new repeatable formats when needed.
- Write clear, engaging captions and marketing copy that sound consistent with the Snowy Owl brand.
- Track what content and promotions are working and use those insights to improve future campaigns.
Support Night Owl marketing and events
- Continue building awareness of Night Owl as an afternoon and evening café and gathering place for the year round Cape community.
- Promote coffee and espresso drinks, desserts, wine, beer, creative drinks, food offerings, live music, and special events.
- Create and maintain Facebook events through the Night Owl and Snowy Owl Meta accounts.
- Add events to the Shopify website calendar with accurate details, ticket or reservation information, and strong imagery.
- Create coordinated social, email, website, and printed materials for musicians, ticketed events, promotions, and other programming.
- Capture content during selected evening events and work with café leadership and event partners to keep promotion organized and timely.
Manage digital marketing and audience communication
- Help keep Snowy Owl and Night Owl social channels active with useful, timely, and engaging content.
- Partner with Leah, our dedicated Toast IQ Grow marketing specialist, on café email and SMS campaigns, including audience segmentation, promotions, and offers.
- Update Night Owl pages, event listings, and other Shopify content as assigned.
- Coordinate Toast promotions with the broader content calendar and keep featured items, product imagery, and order ahead messaging current.
- Support product photography, website copy, product descriptions, blog content, and launch materials for coffee and merchandise.
Support the brand across the business
- Create or update labels, signage, print advertisements, sales materials, and seasonal campaigns.
- Provide creative support for merchandise, packaging, wholesale partner materials, and community collaborations.
- Maintain consistent visual and written messaging across cafés, retail products, digital channels, and printed materials.
- Research and learn new tools that can improve the quality, organization, or reach of Snowy Owl’s marketing.
How the role works
- This is a full time position of approximately 35 to 40 hours per week, with some seasonal variation based on launches, events, and business needs.
- The schedule includes a mix of independent computer based work and on site work at Snowy Owl locations.
- Some evening and weekend availability will be needed for Night Owl events, content capture, and occasional special projects.
- The role reports to the owner and works closely with café managers, the regional café manager, the wholesale manager, the production team, and Leah, our dedicated Toast IQ Grow marketing specialist.
- You may use your own computer and camera or use Snowy Owl equipment when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Experience creating social media, marketing, photography, video, or design content for a business, organization, or strong personal portfolio.
- Strong visual judgment and comfort capturing and editing both photography and video.
- Strong writing, communication, and proofreading skills.
- Experience with Canva and major social media platforms.
- Familiarity with Shopify, Meta Business Suite, Adobe tools, Toast, or email marketing platforms is helpful but not required.
- Ability to maintain a content calendar, manage deadlines, and coordinate several projects at once.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work at Snowy Owl locations on Cape Cod.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
