Profile Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with expertise in the banking domain to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects and the continuous improvement of project management processes.

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading, managing, and delivering IT projects within the banking sector from initiation to completion. This role will also involve supporting and enhancing the Project Management Office (PMO) by implementing best practices, methodologies, and governance processes tailored to banking operations

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple IT projects in the banking domain, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with banking business goals and compliance requirements.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Identify project risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and documentation specific to the banking industry.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to enhance project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, company policies, industry standards, and best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.
  
  

Qualifications, Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or similar certification is highly recommended.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in the banking or financial services domain.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects within the banking industry.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards, and IT governance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
