Snowline Packaging Solutions is a locally owned packaging distributor and manufacturer serving customers throughout the Intermountain West. We design, fabricate, and deliver custom packaging solutions that protect our customers' products while improving their operations.
We are seeking a dependable, motivated Fabrication Specialist to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, building custom products, and learning a variety of fabrication processes. What You'll Do
As a Fabrication Specialist, you will help manufacture custom packaging solutions by:
- Fabricating foam-in-place protective packaging.
- Building molds used in the foam fabrication process.
- Assisting with the setup and operation of box-making and converting equipment.
- Assembling, gluing, and finishing corrugated boxes.
- Producing custom packaging products according to customer specifications.
- Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet Snowline's quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Following all safety policies and procedures.
- Communicating equipment, production, or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Assisting with other fabrication and manufacturing projects as directed.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to three years of experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or production environment preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Excellent attendance and dependability.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work on a variety of fabrication projects and adapt to changing priorities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
