Requirements / Qualifications
Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Completion of approved coursework for certification as a licensed vocational nurse or as a registered nurse. A combination of education, training and experience that produces the requisite knowledge and ability. Experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable Licenses, Certificates, Special Requirements: Possession of a valid California Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse license or EMT-Paramedic license and a valid California Class C driver’s license. Skills: Passing score on the written test. It is the applicant’s responsibility to obtain a test appointment.
