Responsibilities
- Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development tailored to preschool and toddler needs
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes social skills, emotional regulation, and cooperative play
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a safe and organized learning space
- Support children's developmental milestones by applying knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques
- Engage children in literacy education, math activities, physical education, and creative arts to stimulate holistic growth
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers through regular communication about children's progress and welfare
- Manage behavior using positive reinforcement methods while addressing individual needs related to special education or behavioral challenges
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with preschool or toddler-aged children in daycare, private school, or similar settings
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and special education practices for diverse learners
- Hands-on experience with childcare routines such as diapering, feeding, and nap times for toddlers
- Familiarity with Montessori or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners
- Experience with standardized testing or assessments related to early childhood education is advantageous
