Snowbird Delivery, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP), has immediate openings for package delivery drivers, based out of our location just east of Rockford -- location for the job is in Cherry Valley.

Snowbird Delivery is operating out of the new Cherry Valley Amazon Delivery Station, near Rockford. Come work with us to deliver Amazon packages and smiles to the greater Rockford area and southern Wisconsin!

Snowbird Delivery Associates start at $22.50/hour with opportunities for bonuses and overtime. Our 10-hour shifts start at approximately 9:15 a.m. and deliver until approximately 7:15 p.m.

Job Duties

• Safely operate company delivery van
• Use handheld device for routing & delivery info
• Load/unload and deliver 250 packages per shift
• Lift packages up to 50 lbs and deliver up to the 3rd floor
• Frequent walking – get in anywhere from 15,000 – 18,000 steps a day
• Make up to 200 stops a day
• Provide excellent customer service
• Perform vehicle inspections & follow safety protocols
• Work in all weather conditions & be able to deliver in the dark

Requirements

• 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license (non-CDL) with clean driving record
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen (test doesn’t include THC, but working under the influence is strictly prohibited)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb stairs regularly
• Able to operate and navigate a delivery van and pass a road test
• Comfortable using GPS & smartphones
• Able to climb in and out of a van up to 200 times a day

Schedule

• Full day shifts (approx. 10 hours) required for both full-time and part-time
• Full-time positions available -- 3 or 4 days per week
• Part-time positions available – 1 or 2 days per week
• All drivers must work 1 weekend day per week (Sat or Sun)
• Flexible scheduling with possible 5th day opportunities for high performers
