Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Line Supervisor to lead our team in a fast-paced, high-volume food production and customer service centered environment. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless operation of food preparation, maintaining exceptional food safety standards, and delivering outstanding guest experiences. As a Line Supervisor, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, ensure guest's expectations are met and exceeded, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety to support our mission of providing The Snow White Grill experience to our community.
Duties:
- Supervise all aspects of daily food preparation and execution on the line, ensuring adherence to standard operation.
- Manage kitchen staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training on expected procedure.
- Oversee food safety sanitizing procedures, maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Ensure proper operation of kitchen equipment including grill, fryers, knives, and other culinary tools to optimize productivity.
- Monitor high volume production processes to meet expected completion times while maintaining quality standards for all menu items.
- Be a brand ambassador, ensuring every guest experience continues to meet the excellent standard set since our inception in 1949.
- Adhere to food safety management protocols and conduct regular self inspections to ensure food safety compliance.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in food service delivery.
Experience Required:
- At least 2 years culinary background with direct experience in menu execution and food preparation techniques.
- Minimum of ServSafe Food Handler Certification currently up to date required.
- Prior supervisory experience leading kitchen teams or line cooks in a fast-paced restaurant or catering setting.
- Demonstrated ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in high-volume environments.
- Knowledge of food safety management systems and implementing best practices for sanitation and hygiene standards.
