Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts to ensure efficiency and excellent customer experience.
- Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives.
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control protocols.
- Manage POS systems including BRINKS POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock control, and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all areas of operation.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist with staffing schedules, interviewing potential team members, and supporting staff training programs.
- Manage shift responsibilities such as opening/closing procedures, cash reconciliation, and ensuring operational readiness.
- Support kitchen management tasks including food production oversight and coordination with culinary staff.
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for guests and team members alike.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food service industry; prior experience in casual dining, fine dining, catering, or hotel food services is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as BRINKS POS; cash handling experience required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and supervising diverse teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of inventory control processes and budgeting principles is advantageous.
- Hospitality management background including customer service excellence and food handling expertise is desirable.
